 When it comes to applying as an Owner Builder, it is recommended that you become familiar with the

owner-builder section of the VBA website and read through the processes. If in doubt with the owner builder process to gain your certificate, contact the VBA. 
I would recommend saving time by applying for your owner-builder certificate beforehand, but I'm willing to help you through the process and into the stage to get your construction certified when an appointment is made.
